Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Full Brow Wax.

Most Full Brow Wax appointments take about 15–30 minutes, including consultation and brow mapping. Timing varies with desired shape and hair density. Allow extra time for first-time clients, tinting, or brow shaping sessions to ensure a precise, comfortable result.

Contrary to myth, waxing does not cause hair to grow back thicker or darker. Waxing removes hair from the root; regrowth often appears finer and softer. Consistent waxing can lead to sparser regrowth over time. Individual hair cycles and hormones influence outcomes.

We recommend a patch test for clients with sensitive skin, allergies, or if it's your first waxing with us. A brief skin test identifies potential reactions and informs product choice, ensuring safety and the best possible results during your Full Brow Wax.

Arrive with clean, makeup-free brows. Avoid retinol, chemical peels, or recent sun exposure for at least 48 hours to reduce sensitivity. Ideal hair length is about 1/4 inch to ensure a clean removal. Inform your esthetician about medications or recent treatments.

Mild redness or slight tenderness is normal and typically subsides within a few hours to 24–48 hours. We apply soothing gel and recommend avoiding heat, heavy sweating, exfoliation, or direct sun exposure for 24–48 hours to minimize irritation and promote healing.

Most clients return every 3–6 weeks depending on hair growth and desired maintenance. Brows with faster regrowth may need treatments every 3–4 weeks, while slower growth can extend to 6 weeks. Your esthetician will recommend a personalized schedule for optimal shape retention.
